what is my approach of somatic accompaniment?
Sometimes life asks us to slow down.
We might feel overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck in recurring patterns, or simply sense that something in us longs for more space. Rather than trying to solve these experiences through the mind alone, somatic work invites us to listen to what the body already knows.
Our bodies continuously respond to the world around us. They carry memories, emotions, protective strategies, and an innate capacity for regulation, connection, and change.
In our sessions, we gently explore what is present through body awareness, sensation, movement, breath, curiosity, and conversation. There is nothing you need to perform or achieve. We move at a pace that feels supportive for your nervous system.
This work is not about fixing yourself. It is about becoming more connected to yourself.
My work is rooted in curiosity, consent, and slowness.
I offer a trauma-aware, queer-affirming and anti-oppressive space that honours your lived experience and your body's own wisdom. Rather than directing or analysing, I accompany you in discovering what feels true for you.
I believe meaningful change rarely comes from pushing ourselves harder. More often, it emerges when we create enough safety to listen.

what can you expect?
Each session typically lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. We begin with a brief conversation to explore what brought you here and your intentions for the session.
Together, we decide on the most suitable practices to address your needs and questions in each session. we go slow and we go in the frame of set boundaries. We conclude with a period of integration and reflection, discussing any insights gained during the experience.
Each session is a unique experience tailored to your needs. Sometimes, it’s simply about creating space to feel, express, and explore your identity and experiences. Other times, you may receive valuable insights or information to guide your journey.
Somatic accompaniment can support you with
Every session unfolds differently depending on what you bring.
Together we may work with:
body awareness and interoception
nervous system regulation
grounding and resourcing
conscious (self-) touch
breath and mindful movement
guided somatic explorations
noticing emotions and sensations
reflective dialogue
moments of silence and integration
There is no expectation to share everything or to have the right words. Sometimes the body speaks before language does.
working ethics i adhere to
I strictly adhere to the ASIS Ethical Code of Practice, ensuring that all sessions are conducted with the highest standards of professionalism, safer spaces, and integrity.
This approach is always in service of your stated intention, our mutually agreed-upon learning framework and boundaries, and the cultivation of your somatic awareness.
These guidelines create a clear, respectful structure, allowing you to explore your experiences in a safer, supported, and empowering environment.
