This space shall be a practice to welcome your body to enter the chat.
Our bodies and systems are constantly sending clues; a broad spectrum of sensations, emotions, feelings. A language of itself that rarely enters our conversations.
Like sensing and sharing that you feel this suffocating heaviness in your chest while your bestie is sharing their touching story.
Like feeling and sharing that your heart area is blooming when you see your loved ones smile and giggle out of joy.
To slow down, pause, listen to what is alive in the moment and share from this place, holds the potential to create deeper intimacy and a more honest connection - to ourselves and others. Being In Conversation With The Body (For BIPOCs) is a practice that might enrich the ways we relate through depth.
This 2-hour somatic workshop shall be an invitation to slow down, to go into gentle inquiry, to deepen your awareness of what is alive in you, and practice bringing that embodied knowing into relationship. Together we'll explore how communication changes and intimacy grows when we speak less from our stories and more from our lived, embodied experience.
Together we'll move, breathe, pause, notice, and connect.
You will be guided through practices of somatics, solo and partnered exercises, authentic communication and relating, embodied sharing and circling, mindfulness, gentle movement, self-touch, and spacious reflections.
No prior experience needed.
This workshop is a BIPOC-exclusive space.
